What-A-Doodle is a browser game with campaign progress, local settings, and an optional online leaderboard. This policy explains what data the game stores, what is sent when you post a leaderboard score, and what choices you have.
When you submit a campaign score to the leaderboard, we collect:
wad_profile. It is used to tie your submissions and personal-best lookups together.iOS, Android, Windows, plus a coarse device model string when the browser exposes one.The game uses browser localStorage for the following local-only data:
wad_profile — player name, random player ID, sound preference, and vibration preference.wad_sv — campaign unlock progress, stars, and related save data.wad_run — an in-progress campaign run so it can survive a refresh or tab close.wad_sc — locally cached campaign score history used as a fallback when the online leaderboard is unavailable.Campaign scores are submitted to a Cloudflare-hosted API and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Public leaderboard views show only the data needed for ranking, such as player name, score, level reached, and leaderboard date. Platform and device-model information may be stored for diagnostics or aggregate analysis, but they are not required for basic gameplay.
The current browser version of What-A-Doodle does not use third-party analytics SDKs or ad networks inside gameplay. If that changes in a future platform build, this policy will be updated before or alongside that release.
Submitted scores appear on the public leaderboard under the display name you chose. We do not sell your data. Limited technical data is shared only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the game site and leaderboard service.
What-A-Doodle is designed to avoid collecting direct personal identifiers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the limited gameplay and leaderboard data described above.
We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
